FitRealm Community Guidelines
FitRealm's social side exists so athletes can push each other, celebrate real progress and train together. That only works if the feed, comments, chats, communities and events stay honest and safe. These rules apply to everything you post or send — and every one of them can be enforced, because every post, comment, message, community and event has a Report control, and any athlete can be blocked.
The rules
No spam or scams
No repetitive promotion, pyramid schemes, fake giveaways, link farming or selling under the guise of fitness content.
No harassment or bullying
No pile-ons, insults about someone's body or performance, unwanted repeated contact, or encouraging others to harass someone. If someone blocks you, let it end there. Blocking removes that person's comments and likes from your posts, along with notifications between your accounts.
No hate speech
No attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality. None.
No violence or threats
No threatening people, no glorifying violence, no content that celebrates harming others.
No nudity or sexual content
Training photos are welcome. Sexual or explicit content is not. This is a fitness feed, and athletes of 16 use it.
In a training, competition or physique photo, this is fine:
- Gym clothes and sports bras.
- Men without a shirt.
- Swimwear, bikinis and posing trunks that fully cover the buttocks.
- Scars from surgery, such as after a mastectomy.
This is not allowed:
- Visible genitals or bare buttocks.
- Women's bare breasts with the nipples showing.
- See-through clothing, thongs, or photos in underwear only.
- Close-ups or crops that zoom in on the groin, buttocks or breasts.
- Breastfeeding photos. FitRealm is for training content.
- Sexual poses, acts or captions, and sexual comments on anyone's photos.
- Nudity that is drawn, edited or made with AI.
- Intimate images of anyone, shared without their consent.
- Links to adult sites, OnlyFans or any sexual service.
Anything sexual involving someone under 18 ends the account at once and is reported to the authorities.
No self-harm content
Do not post content that promotes self-harm, suicide or disordered eating — including extreme-deficit "challenges" and glorified overtraining. If you report such content, the app will also show you where to find help; if you are struggling, please reach out to local crisis services.
No false information
Do not present fabricated lifts or progress as real, and do not spread health misinformation that could get someone hurt.
No impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, a coach you are not, or a brand. Parody accounts are not what this app is for.
Meeting in person: events
Events are the one part of FitRealm that puts you in the same physical place as someone you met online. Everything on this page applies there too, and so does the following.
We do not check anyone
FitRealm does not verify identity, run background checks, or vet the people who create or join events. A profile tells you what that person typed. Treat everyone you have not met as the stranger they are, however familiar their posts feel.
Hosting is for adults
You must be 18 or over to create an event. Anyone 16 or over can join one. If you host, you are choosing the place, the time and who is invited, and you are responsible for the event you have created — we do not supervise it, insure it, or take part in it.
We ask every host to tick that they have read the safety terms before their first event. That tick is recorded.
If you are under 18
You can join events, and plenty of people will be glad you came. Before you do:
- Only go to events in public, staffed places — a gym floor, a busy park, a running track. Never a private address, never somewhere isolated.
- Tell a parent, guardian or another adult you trust where you are going, who you are meeting and when you will be back. Take someone with you if you can.
- No adult from this app has any business asking you to meet privately, to keep a meeting secret, to move the conversation somewhere else, or to send photos. If someone does, do not go — report them and block them.
- If anything feels wrong, leave. You do not owe anyone an explanation.
If you are hosting or attending, whatever your age
- Meet in public. Do not use your home address as a venue.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to be back.
- Arrange your own transport there and back. Do not rely on someone you have just met for a lift.
- You decide what you are comfortable with. Nobody at an event is entitled to your phone number, your address, a lift, a photograph, or physical contact.
- Look after yourself first. Train within your limits — the Health & Fitness Disclaimer applies at an event exactly as it does anywhere else.
- If someone makes you uncomfortable, leave and report them. You do not need to have proof, and you do not need to confront them.
Never at an event
- Turning up to an event to pursue, intimidate, film or photograph someone who does not want it.
- Pressuring anyone to stay, to drink, to go somewhere else, or to be alone with you.
- Any sexual approach to a person under 18. This ends the account immediately and is reported to the authorities.
- Using an event to sell, recruit, or push supplements, coaching or a programme.
If something happens
If you are in danger, call the emergency services first — 112 across the EU, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US and Canada, 000 in Australia. Call them, not us. We are an app; they can actually come.
Once you are safe, report the account in the app and email support@fit-realm.app. We will act on it, and we will cooperate with a lawful request from the police.
How enforcement works
Reports go to a human, who reads the reported content and decides. Depending on severity we remove the content or terminate the account — repeat and severe violations end accounts. We record every decision, and you can see what came of anything you reported under Settings, then Privacy, then Your reports. Filing deliberately false reports to weaponise moderation is itself a violation.
An account can be suspended. A suspended account is signed out and cannot sign back in, for 7 days, 30 days or until we lift it. Nothing in it is deleted. We tell you which rule was broken and why. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that message or write to support@fit-realm.app, and a person will look at it again.
A report you file still gets read if you leave. Deleting your account takes your name off it, and the report itself stays until it has been dealt with. Nobody can make a report disappear by deleting their account — not the person who filed it, and not the person it is about.
Community owners moderate their own community. An owner or moderator can take a post off their community wall and remove someone from the community. We always tell you which rule it broke. If you are removed you cannot rejoin that community. Reporting a post still comes to us, and our own decisions are separate from theirs.
If you believe we got a decision wrong, write to support@fit-realm.app and we will take a second look.
