FitRealm Terms of Service

1. Who you are agreeing with

FitRealm is operated by Ashish Shirish Vayangankar, trading as Vayash Studio, Julius-Leber-Strasse 1a, 67551 Worms-Pfeddersheim, Germany ("we", "us"). Questions about these terms go to support@fit-realm.app.

By creating an account or using FitRealm you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Health & Fitness Disclaimer, and you agree to follow the Community Guidelines.

2. What FitRealm is

FitRealm is a gamified fitness app: workout planning and tracking, food, water, sleep, weight and step logging, personal records, XP, streaks, quests and leaderboards, plus social features — posts, comments, chat, gyms, communities and events.

  • Your training plans are computed, not generated by a model. Plans, progression and insights are deterministic algorithms applied to the inputs you provide.
  • There is a free version, and a paid one is coming. The app you install today is entirely free. Section 3 sets out what each tier includes, and section 4 covers billing for when Pro arrives.

3. Free, Pro and ads

  • The free version is the whole app, not a trial. Training, logging, personal records, XP, streaks, quests, leaderboards and the social features are all in the free version. Nothing runs out after a trial period, and nothing you have logged is ever deleted because you are on the free tier.
  • A few things have a free allowance. On the free version you can follow 20 new athletes in any seven days. You can join 3 communities and run 1 of your own. You can be signed up for 2 upcoming events at a time. You can save 5 meals, 2 weekly splits, and 1 workout template for each type of training day. You can rebuild your plan once a month, and swap 3 exercises a week. Adding progress photos is a Pro feature. The app tells you the number when you reach one of these, and reaching one never deletes anything you already saved. Pro raises every one of them, and the subscription screen shows what each one becomes. These are the allowances at launch; they can change as the app develops.
  • Ads and Pro are not in the launch build. Both arrive in an update in the weeks after 29 September 2026. Until then nothing in the app shows an ad and nothing can be bought; this section and section 4 describe how it works once they land.
  • The free version shows ads. They are what pays for it. We keep them out of the moments that matter: not during a workout, not during a rest timer, not in the middle of logging, and not on top of a personal record or another celebration. What the ads mean for your data is set out in section 2 of the Privacy Policy, and in the EU, the UK and Switzerland you are asked before any personalised advertising.
  • Pro is a paid subscription. It removes ads and unlocks depth — more analytics and history, more control over your training program, more of the nutrition and social features, and cosmetics reserved for subscribers. The exact list is shown on the subscription screen before you pay; that list is what you are buying, and it can grow or change as the app develops.
  • What Pro never buys is an advantage. No XP multipliers, no streak protection, no leaderboard boost, no way to out-rank anyone by paying. Rank is earned by training, on both tiers. Nothing about honesty or safety is behind the paywall either — real personal records, injury filtering and accurate calorie figures are free for everyone.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Pro goes on sale in an update after launch. There is nothing to buy today, and these terms apply from that update.

  • Google Play is the seller. Subscriptions are bought and charged through your Google Play account, not by us directly. Google takes the payment and holds your payment details; we never see them.
  • What you pay. You are charged the price shown at purchase, for the billing period you choose there. Prices vary by country and are shown in your own currency, including tax where it applies, before you confirm.
  • It renews automatically. A subscription renews at the end of every period, at the price then current, and keeps renewing until you cancel. Google charges the renewal on the renewal date.
  • Cancelling. Cancel at any time from Subscriptions in the Google Play Store. That is the only place a Play subscription can be cancelled — we cannot cancel it for you. Cancel before the renewal date or that next period is charged. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not cut short the period you have already paid for, and Pro keeps working until that period ends.
  • Trials and introductory offers. If a free trial or a reduced introductory price is offered to you, how long it lasts and what it turns into are shown before you confirm. A trial becomes a paid subscription automatically when it ends unless you cancel before then.
  • Refunds. Subscriptions bought through Google Play are refunded under Google Play's refund policy, and refund requests go to Google. If Google turns you down and you believe that is wrong, write to support@fit-realm.app and we will look at it ourselves. None of this affects the rights your country's consumer law gives you, including any statutory right of withdrawal you have as a consumer in the EU.
  • Price changes. We may change prices. Google notifies existing subscribers in advance, and a new price only takes effect from a renewal after that notice; depending on where you live, Google may require you to agree before it renews at the new price. You can cancel instead, and the old price stands until the period you have paid for ends.
  • If what Pro includes changes. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the app develops. Where we remove something significant from Pro we will tell you before it takes effect if we can, and you can cancel.
  • When a subscription ends. Nothing you logged or created is deleted — not a workout, log, photo, post or record. The paid features stop, the app returns to the free tier, and ads come back. Cosmetics reserved for subscribers stop being usable and return if you subscribe again; anything you earned by training stays yours permanently. Exporting and deleting your data work exactly as before, on either tier.
  • Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Google Play holds it, not us. Cancel it in Google Play as well, or it keeps renewing after your account is gone.

5. Who may use it

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or older where your country's law sets a higher minimum for services like this.
  • You may hold one account, it is personal to you, and the information you give us must be accurate.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Everything done through your account is treated as done by you.

6. Your content

  • Posts, photos, comments, messages and profile information you create remain yours.
  • So that the app can work, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content — but only as needed to operate FitRealm and only to the audience you chose for it. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where a copy must be kept briefly for the legal or safety reasons described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You must have the rights to what you post. Do not post content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or privacy.
  • If you believe content on FitRealm infringes your rights, email support@fit-realm.app with the content, where you found it, and proof of your claim, and we will review it promptly.

7. Behaviour

The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. In short: no spam or scams, no harassment or bullying, no hate speech, no threats or violent content, no nudity or sexual content, no glorification of self-harm, no deliberate misinformation, no impersonation.

Every post, comment, message, community and event in FitRealm can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any athlete.

Events and meeting in person

Events are arranged between users. FitRealm provides the noticeboard; it does not organise, supervise, attend or insure anything that happens at one.

  • You must be 18 or over to create an event. You must be 16 or over to join one, the same minimum as the rest of the app.
  • Before your first event, you will be asked to read and tick the in-person safety terms. We record that you did.
  • We do not verify identity and we do not run background checks on anyone who creates or joins an event. We cannot tell you that another user is who they say they are.
  • If you host, you choose the venue, the time and the audience, and you are responsible for the event you created. If you attend, you decide what you are comfortable with and you are free to leave at any moment.
  • The safety rules in the Community Guidelines apply at events, and breaking them at an event is enforced the same way as breaking them in the app.

None of the above limits our liability for injury to life, body or health, or for intent and gross negligence — see section 10.

8. Enforcement

If content or an account breaks these terms or the guidelines, we may remove the content, restrict what the account can do, or terminate the account — with severity matching the violation. Where the law requires it, we will tell you what happened and why. If your account is terminated for a serious violation, you may not simply create a new one.

9. Honest limits of the service

  • FitRealm is provided "as available". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may change or be withdrawn as the product evolves.
  • Training guidance, calorie targets and insights are computed from what you tell us. They are general fitness information, not medical, dietary or professional advice — the Health & Fitness Disclaimer applies to everything you do with them.
  • Gym listings come from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps and may be incomplete or out of date. Food databases are community and government sources and may contain errors. Verify anything that matters.
  • Ages are self-reported. We ask for an age and we hold people to what they entered, but we have no way to verify it, so the 18-and-over rule for hosting an event is a rule rather than a guarantee. Judge people by how they behave, not by a number on a profile.

10. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of obligations essential to the contract, and then only up to the damage typical and foreseeable for an app of this kind. This does not affect rights that the consumer-protection law of your country of residence grants you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

11. Ending things

  • You can stop using FitRealm at any time, and you can delete your account and all of its data in Settings, then Account & security — deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • If you have a subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in Google Play as well, as section 4 explains.
  • We may terminate accounts as described in section 8, or discontinue the service with reasonable advance notice; in that case we will give you the opportunity to export your data first. If we discontinue the service while you have paid for a period that has not run out, we will refund the unused part of it.

12. Changes to these terms

When we make a material change, we raise the version of these terms and the app asks you to accept the new version before you continue. If you do not accept, you can export your data and delete your account.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country where you live. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).

The English version of these terms is the binding one.
