FitRealm is a fitness app, not a doctor. Please read this once — it is short and it matters.
Not medical advice
Nothing in FitRealm is medical, dietary or professional advice. Training plans, calorie targets, weight projections and insights are computed by ordinary algorithms from the information you enter. They are general fitness information for healthy adults.
Talk to a professional first
Consult a physician before starting or changing a training or nutrition programme, especially if any of these apply:
- a heart condition, high blood pressure, or any chronic illness
- a current or past injury, or pain during exercise
- pregnancy, or you have recently given birth
- a history of disordered eating
- any medication that affects exercise, appetite or hydration
Listen to your body
Stop exercising immediately and seek medical help if you feel chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, faintness or sharp pain. Never train through warning signs because an app shows a streak, a quest or a target. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
About calories and food logging
Calorie targets and food data are estimates, and community food databases contain errors. FitRealm's numbers are for orientation, not prescriptions. FitRealm is not a tool for treating any eating disorder — if food logging is harming your relationship with eating, please stop using that feature and talk to a professional.
About the numbers
Weights, records and progressions in your plan are suggestions computed from what you told the app. You are responsible for choosing loads you can handle safely, using proper form, and using equipment that is in good condition. When in doubt, lift lighter.
Your responsibility
By using FitRealm you confirm that you are in adequate physical condition to exercise, and you accept that you train at your own risk. This disclaimer does not limit any rights that the law of your country grants you and that cannot be waived.
